Conference Scholarships

We have a limited number of need-based scholarships. All recipients of a scholarship will be given a coupon to be used when registering.

Partial scholarships are preferred, but all requests will be considered.

Scholarships cannot be requested for extra agent pitches, vendor tables, contest entries, sponsorships, or program book ads.

All scholarship recipients agree to volunteer at the conference for a minimum of 2-4 hours, depending on the amount of scholarship desired. Volunteer shifts are available during the conference and also during set-up and clean-up.

$50 (I just need a little help, and I can volunteer for 2 hours)
$75 (I need a little more help, and I can volunteer for 3 hours)
$100 (I need more help but can afford some of the conference fee, and I can volunteer for 4 hours)
$125 (I need more help but can afford some of the conference fee, and I can volunteer for 5 hours)
$175 (I can only pay the minimum but can volunteer for 7 hours)

All choices are acceptable answers. We ask all attendees who apply for a scholarship to contribute at least $10 to attend, to ensure a meaningful commitment to attending the conference. However, we understand that in some cases, even this may not be possible. If you are in extreme financial need and require a 100% scholarship, please email a short statement of need to michael@the-muse.org.
